Events - SKI CHALLENGE 2008, Saturday March 8

Pico Mountain.

Snow sports enthusiasts of all ages and abilities compete in our annual ski race at Pico Mountain each March. Teams of three compete for awards for best costume, fastest times, and lots of fun prizes. The day’s festivities include the ski race, raffle, awards and Gala Reception including dinner and live entertainment.

This year, Ski Challenge 2008 will be the Grand Celebration for our 20th year of operations. There are several ways you can get involved and help Vermont Adaptive commerorate our annivarsary. You can:

• Organize a team of three and come have a great time!
• Bring your friends and family to the gala, even if you don't race during the day.
• Find a local business to sponsor a team or a table at the Gala.
• Donate prizes and auction items.
• Join the planning committee, so it's our best year ever!

This year, the Gala Dinner Dance will be a Honkey-Tonk- Swingin Party with a Western BBQ and live entertainment by Vermont's own "Tennessee Trio"-- THE STARLINE RHYTHM BOYS.

Vermont Adaptive holds several fundraising that support our operating budget. Collectively, it takes more than 300 volunteers to organize and facilitate the following events. For more information on becoming a volunteer at one of these events contact a program coordinator.
