Winter:  Sugarbush Resort, Mt. Ellen
Summer: Mad River Valley, Waterbury/Montpelier, locations in central Vermont

Sarah joined the Vermont Adaptive team in October of 2022. Previously the Assistant Supervisor of the adaptive program in Jackson Hole, she has earned her PSIA Children’s Specialist Level 1, PSIA Alpine Level 1, PSIA Adaptive Level 2, her American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education Level 1, and her CPR and Wilderness First Aid certification. She relocated to Vermont to attend UVM to pursue her master’s degree in special education. She holds a Bachelors of Arts from Bates College in Maine.

Her other work experience includes being a recreation specialist for adults with disabilities for the Northeast ARC, intern for the Special Olympics of Massachusetts, and volunteer for many SOMA soccer and basketball and Young Athletes leagues around Massachusetts. Vermont Adaptive has been a part of Sarah’s life for 22 years—ever since her little brother started skiing with Vermont Adaptive at age three! She is stoked to finally return to her home mountain, Mt. Ellen, and have the opportunity to become part of the Waitsfield community. She currently lives in Fayston with her cat, Oliver Donut, and four chickens. In her free time she loves being outdoors experiencing nature through skiing, mountain biking, climbing, and hiking
