Each year Vermont Adaptive participates in the global initiative known as Giving Tuesday. Annually, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving is a global day dedicated to giving back. #GivingTuesday follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday with the goal of celebrating generosity and encouraging people to give during the holiday season. It was created to inspire people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes that they support and help create a better world. #GivingTuesday harnesses the power of social media to create a national moment around the holidays dedicated to giving, similar to how Black Friday and Cyber Monday have become days that are, today, synonymous with holiday shopping. Your donations during this time help us to continue to provide year-round sports and recreation for people with disabilities. Stay tuned for details for #GivingTuesday 2024.
Vermont Adaptive accepts in-kind gifts of services and tangible goods that support our programs.
Your gift ensures that we are well prepared for all of the little things, the big things, and the everyday items that will enhance the overall experience for our participants. You are welcome to sponsor the purchase of any item on our wish list as well. Please contact Norm by email or call 802.786.4991.
Equipment Needs
We appreciate the thoughtfulness of those folks who want to donate gently used or old equipment but we can’t accept used winter alpine gear.
Bigger Item Wish List
Vermont Adaptive has a wish list of items that rise above our ongoing in-kind donation needs. These special gifts will help us expand programs and keep our participants outfitted in safe, reliable equipment.
While we appreciate all offers of sports equipment, we must ensure that gear meets our safety standards and can be adapted for our participants. If you would like to donate items that aren’t listed, please contact Norm by email or call 802.786.4991.
Accessories
These smaller items keep our participants moving everyday.
