Winter at Its Best

In 1987, Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports started as a small ski program in southeastern Vermont. Since then our Snowsports program has grown to be the largest in the State,

We currently offer skiing and snowboarding at Pico Mountain/Killington Resort, Sugarbush Resort, and Bolton Valley Ski Area. We also assist other resorts to help make accommodations when possible.

On the Snow Every Day

Vermont Adaptive staff and trained volunteers offer lessons to individuals of all ages with any disability, seven days a week during the ski season. The season generally runs from Dec. 26 through the first week in April.

At Vermont Adaptive, we use many different techniques and equipment for our year-round programs. We derive our techniques from professional standards and organizations who, like us, are experts in the field of adaptive sports. We keep a current inventory of adaptive equipment that is adapted to fit the individual’s need as the lesson progresses. Every lesson we teach is tailored for each individual and each program.
